When is it okay to play with food?
We know it is never ever okay to play with our food in the lunchroom, but what about if your class is learning from author Jan Brett how to catch a gingerbread baby? First grade and sixth grade studied how gingerbread babies move and practiced the voices they make when reading together on Friday. If you haven’t read this book, we will give you a hint. Sugary sweet frosting is one way to catch a gingerbread baby.
